This ADU uses a steel moment frame on the front wall, includes 4″ of closed insulation under the slab along with insulated ZIP System R6 on the whole exterior, and 2×6 wall construction with open cell foam insulation. It features triple pane, aluminum custom European windows and 8’H x 10’W doors and built-in Centor Screens for sliding doors. It is wrapped in Thermally Modified UFP-Edge wood siding. The ADU features custom wood beams, 5 invisible in-wall speakers, hidden washer and dryer in the kitchen island, and custom kitchen cabinets with 1″ thick doors. It also utilizes a Mitsubishi mini-split heat pump with wall unit and ceiling cassette, heat pump water heater, and LED lighting throughout.
